Mirka was born and raised in Slovakia, a small jewel of a country in central Europe that boasts a rich history, expansive natural beauty, and some of Europe's oldest archaeological sites. Since the free development of land is not permitted in Slovakia, Mirka has relocated to find the freedom to vision her own career direction. Her innate European hospitality combines with a fastidious attention to detail and a conviction to fairness to provide a stress-free environment and honest communication with all of her customers and clients.

Wayne is a fourth genertion Madeline Islander who has been involved in real estate since the1980s. His father, Harry Nelson, was instrumental in developing Madeline Island in the 1960s - such as building the Marina, Golf Course, and Airport, as well as expanding the underground infrastructure to support the growing tourist economy. It was Harry who tought Wayne the essential skills of his trade in road construction and infrastructure development using his knowledge of the land and the importance of preserving its assets: working with and for the community. Wayne has gone on to help develop the Apostle Highland Golf Course and Roy's Point Marina in Bayfield. His specialty is buying and developing vacant land, and offers skills in creating views, designs and layouts. His on-site assessments take into consideration the natural beauty, resources and relationship between nature and  man.
